My Healthcare Story is a project from the University of Massachusetts Amherst senior, Kate Pecora. This space is uniquely curated to highlight the differences and similarities across the United States as they relate to access, affordability, and quality of healthcare. Through her travels across the country in search of those who have experienced disparities in healthcare, outrageous medical bills, and the stories of care that touch each edge of the nation, Kate will bring the faces of healthcare to the forefront of the conversation. To change the future of healthcare, we all must use our voices, share our stories, and demand a better system.
